PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water discharge nozzle for fire extinguishing which discharges water from the nozzle first in a stop state, then in a spraying water state having a hollow cylindrical shape, and finally in a spraying water state having a fully conical shape and carries out fire extinguishing efficiently by minimizing a reaction force generated when starting fire extinguishing. SOLUTION: An operation tube 2 is screwed into the front end of a water discharge tube 1 so that it can advance or retreat freely. Pressurized water from the water discharge tube 1 is sprayed from a circular outer spraying port 9 between a deflector 7 mounted in one piece on the front end of a fixed axis 6 arranged in the middle of the operation tube 2 and an open end of the operation tube 2, and is first sprayed in a hollow cylindrical shape and then in a conical shape. A water discharge passage 13 is formed in the fixed axis 6. An inflow port 15 communicating with the inside of the operation tube 2 is formed on the rear end of the water discharge passage 13, and a central spraying port 14 is formed on the front end of the water discharge passage so that it opens in the center of the deflector 7.
