PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gardening support for bringing atmospheric pressure in culture soil close to ambient pressure so as to increase cultivation effect. SOLUTION: This gardening support has a support main body formed from a hollow pipe, and a plurality of vent holes which are formed on the side of the support, allow the outside to communicate with the inside, and have a cross-sectional area which becomes smaller from the outside to the inside. It is possible to make atmospheric pressure in culture soil close to ambient pressure by inserting the gardening support into the culture soil and to increase cultivation effect compared to the case of setting vent holes having a cross-sectional area which is constant from the outside to the inside.
