A tundish capable of preventing erosion of a long nozzle, which can prevent vortex phenomenon of molten steel dropped from a ladle to the tundish and proceeds casting operation stably by installing a vortex blocking means on the tundish, is provided. In a continuous casting process comprising: a ladle(100) having a long nozzle(102) formed on the bottom thereof; and a tundish(103) having a dam(105) for relieving movements of molten steel(101) flown in from the ladle, a tundish capable of preventing erosion of a long nozzle comprises: a flow rate reduction plate(103) for reducing flow rate of molten steel dropped from the long nozzle within the tundish; and a vortex blocking means(10) which prevents a vortex flow generated from molten steel overflowing the dam next to the flow rate reduction plate from applying an impact to the long nozzle, and is rotatably mounted on an upper part of the tundish, wherein the vortex blocking means comprises door opening-and-closing shaft blocks, a door opening-and-closing shaft, a door inserting hole, a door separation preventing stopper, and a vortex blocking door(10a).
