<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce contact resistance by reducing deformation such as bending and torsion of a stack after being laminated without upsizing an end plate. <P>SOLUTION: The separators 26, 27 for the fuel cell arranged between unit cells 10 to be laminated, and tightened and fixed by a fastening member penetrating through a peripheral edge in a laminating direction comprise an anode separator 26 contacting with an anode electrode 11 of one unit cell 10, and a cathode separator 27 contacting with a cathode electrode 12 of the other unit cell 10.
