<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell excelling in power generation performance by smoothly accelerating catalyst action. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell is used for generating a direct current between a fuel electrode and an air electrode by the action of a catalyst by arranging the fuel electrode 3 on one side of the catalyst supported to carbon and the air electrode 5 on the other side thereof. The fuel cell has a structure using, for the carbon, a carbon metal nano-tree formed into a tree structure as a whole by filling space parts in trunk-like carbon nanotubes with metal and by branching multiple branch-like carbon nanotubes from the trunk-like carbon nanotubes in high orientation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
