<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact coupling device capable of decelerating a door about to be closed, and holding the door in a prescribed position by moving a first magnet assembly such that the first magnet assembly crosses a magnetic field of a second magnet to remove (decelerate) kinetic energy. <P>SOLUTION: The first magnet assembly 20 comprises a rotatable magnet such as a cylindrical magnet stored in a cylindrical space, magnetized in its diameter direction, and is embedded in an upper part of the door 19. The second magnet 30 is a permanent magnet and is embedded inside a door frame 18. The first magnet assembly 20 and the second magnet 30 are disposed such that they approach when closing the door 19, reduce a closing velocity of the door, and can make the door calmly stop in the prescribed position to the door frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
