<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method, apparatus and program capable of reproducing an image with higher color reproducibility by means of white balance adjustment processing on which a light source condition is reflected with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A parameter acquisition section 32 acquires a weighting parameter C applied to a principal component representing an illumination condition for a face part P0f' by adapting the face part P0f' in an image P0' detected by a face detection section 31 to a mathematic model M generated by the AAM method, and a white balance adjustment section 33 acquires an adjustment amount W of white balance by referencing a reference table T on the basis of the acquired parameter C to adjust the white balance on the basis of the acquired adjustment amount W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
