THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY METHOD, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform switching automatically between a case that DFD system three-dimensional display is presented by distributing luminance based on a two-dimensional image and a depth image and a case that DFD system three-dimensional display is presented by displaying independent two-dimensional images as they are.

SOLUTION: On the image creating side, an image determining transferred to the image display side is buried with an identification image for determining whether the image is composed of a two-dimensional image and a depth image or composed of a plurality of independent two-dimensional images. On the image display side, decision is made whether a transferred image is composed of a two-dimensional image and a depth image or composed of a plurality of independent two-dimensional images, and switching is conducted automatically between a case that DFD system three-dimensional display is presented by distributing luminance based on the two-dimensional image and the depth image and a case that DFD system three-dimensional display is presented by displaying independent two-dimensional images as they are.
