<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise chair which enables a person in a various kinds of situation to simply carry out exercise of the legs or acupressure of the soles in the state of sitting in the chair at home, at a place of work or other ordinary places as long as he can sit in the chair, and which is good to use as a chair itself. <P>SOLUTION: The chair has a seat part 10, leg parts 20 and a backrest 30. Levers 51 provided with foot pedals 52 at the ends and provided with acupressure means 53 at the base ends are pivotally supported so as to be rotatable with respect to the seat part 10 and suspended from the seat part 10 at positions in the middle of the pivotally supporting positions and the distal ends in a spring-energized state. Thus, the foot pedals 52 are arranged floating from a floor in front of and under the seat part 10, and the acupressure means 53 are arranged so as to face a space on the side of the seat 10 from the side of the backrest part 30 so that the acupressure means 53 may turn and advance toward the side of the seat part from the side of the backrest when the pedals 52 are pressed down against spring-urging by spring bodies 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
