<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for cooling a fan that cools an electric motor capable of cooling the electric motor in just proportion and capable of properly controlling the cooling fan even if the winding temperature or revolutions of the motor cannot be measured. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling fan control unit 10 controls the operation of the cooling fan 30 configured to cool the electric motor 20 used for a prescribed purpose.
