<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate a reference voltage on which the current value of a data signal is based. <P>SOLUTION: A data line drive circuit 20 has a plurality of unit circuits U corresponding to data lines 103 one to one. Each unit circuit U has a reference voltage generating circuit 21 and a current output circuit 23. The current output circuit 23 outputs a data signal Xj corresponding to a reference voltage Vref1 applied to a reference voltage line 25 to a data line 103. The reference voltage generating circuit 21 has a compensating transistor Ta having its drain terminal and gate terminal connected, a capacitor C1 which holds a voltage Vref0 at the gate terminal, and a switching element SW which repeatedly applies an ON voltage Vr1 turning ON the compensating transistor Ta to its gate terminal, and applies the reference voltage Vref1 corresponding to the voltage Vref0 that the capacitor C1 holds to a reference voltage line 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
