摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state imaging device which can acquire a highly precise picture even if it is the case that the contrast of intensity between pixels in the picture is greater than the dynamic range of the photodetection of each pixel. SOLUTION: A solid state imaging device 1 is equipped with (1) a photo detector 11, (2) a line selector 20, and (3) a first signal processor 30. In the photodetector 11, the two-dimensional array of pixels of M×N sets is performed to M lines N series, and a pixel P<SB>m, n</SB>which exists in the m-th line the n-th series contains a photodiode PD1<SB>m, n</SB>. The line selector 20 selects at least one line from among M lines of the photodetector 11, directs output of data according to an amount of the charge storage of each pixel for every line of the photodetector 11 while directing the storage of charge generated in the photodiode PD1<SB>m, n</SB>to each pixel exists in the selected line according to optical incidence. The first signal procesor 30 outputs data for every pixel by the input of the data of each pixel output for every line of the photodetector 11 by an indication from the line selector 20.
