PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer apparatus with a telephone function provided with an automatic answering mode control unit that is automatically switched into an automatic answering mode when a user of a telephone set leaves his/her seat and automatically releases the automatic answering mode when the user returns to his/her seat. SOLUTION: An automatic answering telephone control section is automatically switched to the automatic answering mode after a lapse of a prescribed time when the user of a system phone leaves his/her seat.
