PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna assembly of various wireless devices and television receivers of which an antenna rod is fixed at a prescribed angle position through a hinge mechanism and is stably fixed at a set angle position for an extended period. SOLUTION: A hinge mechanism 41 is provided in which the upper end of a cylindrical projection 61A of an abutting member 61 is press-contacted to the end face of a projection 81A of an intermediate member 81 bonded to the lower part of an antenna rod 31 by the energizing force of a coil spring 51 stored in an antenna base 21, so that the antenna rod 31 is fixed at a prescribed angle position. Since escaping downward of the abutting member 61 is allowed when the angle position of the antenna rod 31 is changed, wearing of the cylindrical projection 61A is reduced for stable fixed state at the set angle position for an extended period.
