PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting-position displaying sign displayed in the inside of a circuit diagram and a mounting-position displaying method whereby the mounting position of an electronic component mounted in a printed board can be comprehended only by its circuit diagram accurately and simply. SOLUTION: In the mounting-position displaying method, a circuit diagram is drafted after giving an XY-direction area sign to the tail of the component number of an electronic component which is possessed substantially by the CAD data of the circuit.
