PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel with a partition wall structure transformed to be suitable for application of a phosphor layer. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel comprises a first substrate 10 and a second substrate 20 arranged facing each other, an address electrode 22 formed in the second substrate, a partition wall 26 arranged in a space between the first substrate and the second substrate and partitioning a discharge cell 25 and a non-discharging cell 27, a phosphor layer 28 formed in each discharge cell, and a display electrode 18 formed in the first substrate and comprising bus electrodes 181 and a plurality of expansion electrodes 183 for each bus electrode separating each other. A discharge cell is partitioned by a first partition wall member 26a extended in a length direction of the address electrode and a second partition wall member 26b practically perpendicular to the first partition wall member 26a among the partition walls. The non-discharging cell located between the discharge cells disposed along the length direction of the address electrode is partitioned by a third partition wall member 26c parallel to the first partition wall member.
