PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably control a head speed even when a frictional load on a ramp block becomes large when a head is loaded/unloaded. SOLUTION: A disk device comprises an actuator 7, a voltage detector 11 for outputting a voltage signal Ea generated in the drive coil 5 of the actuator 7, a speed command generator 13 for repeatedly outputting a speed command signal Er gradually enlarged every time loading is started until loading is completed, a speed controller 12 for generating a control signal u from the voltage signal Ea and the speed command signal Er, and a drive device 10 for having the control signal u input and driving the actuator 7, wherein the speed command generator 13 controls the loading speed of a magnetic head 2 to a magnetic disk 1 by outputting different speed command signals Er when the voltage signal Ea or the control signal u exceeds a prescribed value.
