PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the quality of the photographed image due to an X-ray CT system while keeping desired measuring sensitivity in an X-ray detection method. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT system is equipped with an X-ray emitting means for emitting X rays to an examination target, a plurality of X-ray sensors for detecting the X rays transmitted through the examination target and an X-ray sensor signal processing circuit for processing the output signals of a plurality of the X-ray sensors and the X-ray sensors are constituted as semiconductor sensors having a polarizing effect so as to allow X rays hardened in energy distribution to enter the semiconductor sensors. Alternatively, in a detection method of X rays, which are emitted to the examination target to be transmitted through the examination target, by the semiconductor sensors having the polarizing effect, X rays hardened in energy distribution are used to detect X rays by the semiconductor sensors.
