PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a remote operation of a measuring instrument via a network without modifying or the existing measuring instrument or newly purchasing one for remote control. SOLUTION: This remote measurement system has a Web server 20 connected to the network 1, a plurality of Ethernet (R) converters 30a-30n connected to the network 1 and having a remote operation interface and a video signal input part, a plurality of measuring instruments 40a-40n having a remote operation function and capable of performing analog video output of a video signal to be displayed on a display part and an operation terminal 10 connected to the network 1 and having the display part, the operation terminal 10 performs an operation of a measuring instrument 40i while checking a video output video image of the measuring instrument 40i via the network 1 and the Web server 20 by a general-purpose browser program, performs measurement data extraction or waveform observation, setting change.
