PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal search device capable of reducing a memory capacity at the search time by reducing the information volume of a storage feature sequence obtained from a storage signal. SOLUTION: In the signal search device 100, a storage feature computation part 1 computes the storage feature sequence from the storage signal. A storage feature histogram sequence generation part 2 generates a storage feature histogram sequence from the storage feature sequence and records this histogram sequence in a storage feature histogram sequence DB 3. AN input feature computation part 4 computes an input feature sequence with respect to an input signal. A partial storage feature histogram sequence generation part 6 generates a partial storage feature histogram sequence on the basis of the storage feature histogram sequence. A feature verification part 7 sequentially sets verification sections to a noticed area set to a noticed area setting part 5 and generates an input feature histogram sequence in the verification sections and detects a part relevant to the storage signal included in the input signal on the basis of the input feature histogram sequence and the partial storage feature histogram sequence.
