PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a lower limit side burnout signal cannot be surely generated when current consumption increases due to a runaway of a microprocessor, increase of a leak current, or the like. SOLUTION: By output of a watchdog timer monitoring malfunction of the microprocessor, selection of a flash ROM is forcibly disabled, the microprocessor is put into a sleep state, and clock supply to the microprocessor is stopped. A switch element sending an exciting current to an exciting coil is forcibly turned off. The current consumption of the transmitter is lowered, and the lower limit side burnout signal can be surely outputted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
