PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a force input operation device and a mobile body having this capable of suppressing switching or selection of an unintended operation mode generated by tottering or the like of operation force. SOLUTION: In the force input operation device for selecting the operation mode for operating an object to be operated based on magnitude and a direction of the operation force applied to an operation part, the selection of the operation mode is performed based on not only the newest application operation force but also the past application operation force. For example, when the selected operation mode is a first operation mode, when the application operation force corresponding to the second operation mode is continuously detected for a predetermined period of time, it is switched from the first mode to the second mode. Alternatively, the operation mode indicated by the most of application operation force of a plurality of application operation forces detected within a predetermined period of time is made to the actually selected operation mode.
