PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travelling device capable of certainly regulating the axial direction movement of a floating sun gear of a planetary gear speed reducer while restraining cost and improving a maintenance property. SOLUTION: This travelling device is furnished with a hollow suspension member extended and provided on a car body and externally fitting a wheel base part of a wheel on it rotatably and the multistage planetary gear speed reducer buried in the suspension member and free to transmit output of a motor to the wheel base by amplifying it, and a bearing member 28 is interposed between an axial direction end part 16B of the floating sun gear 16 on the next stage and a carrier 12 of the planetary gear on the next stage fixed on the suspension member 51 so as to allow rotation of the sun gear 16 on the next stage and to regulate the relative axial movement of the sun gear on the next stage and the carrier on the next stage.
