A seal buffing machine is provided to remove dust generated during seal buffing process, by connecting a dust collector to a protective cover mounted on an elevation unit and a buffing wheel. A seal buffing machine(50) comprises a buffing wheel(54) having an outer surface on which an abrasive cloth(52) is mounted; a conveyor(56) for conveying a seal to be abraded by the buffing wheel, and conveying the seal abraded by the buffing wheel to the subsequent process; and an elevation unit(70) which is arranged by the side of the conveyor, and has one side where the buffing wheel is rotatably mounted. The elevation unit elastically elevates the buffing wheel in accordance with the height of the seal when the seal is buffed. The elevation unit includes a horizontal lever section(72), a height adjustment section(74), and an elastic support section(76). The horizontal lever section has an intermediate portion hinge-connected to the position spaced apart from the conveyor and one end where the buffing wheel is rotatably mounted. The height adjustment section is arranged at the other end of the horizontal lever section, and adjusts the height of the buffing wheel. The elastic support section is interposed between the height adjustment section and the horizontal lever section, and elastically supports the horizontal lever section. |
