REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium which exhibits good color developing sensitivity and is excellent in heat-resistant shelf stability of an image part.

SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording medium having a reversible thermal recording layer capable of relatively forming a color developing condition and a color erasing condition by using an electron-donating color developing compound and an electron-accepting compound on a substrate and depending on a difference between heating temperature and/or cooling speed after heating, uses a phenol compound expressed by formula (1) (wherein l is an integer of 1-3 and m is an integer of at least 23) as the electron-accepting compound.
