<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital aperture system capable of obtaining a focus effect without using an aperture function and considerably reducing a data processing amount and a processing time. <P>SOLUTION: The digital aperture system carries out image compression such that regions of interest ROI1 to ROI5 are set to an image G1, many code amounts are relatively assigned to the regions of interest ROI1 to ROI5 of the image G1 so as to perform focusing relatively, a small code amount is relatively assigned to regions of non interest non-ROI 21 to relatively blur the focus, a smaller code amount is relatively assigned to the regions of interest with lower priority among the regions of interest ROI1 to ROI5 to relatively and strongly blur the focus thereby applying digital aperture processing to the image G1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
