ANTI-THEFT DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device for a vehicle enhancing a user's convenience.

SOLUTION: The anti-theft device for the vehicle has a theft detection sensor for detecting abnormality of the vehicle generated accompanying with theft of the vehicle and performs theft countermeasure action (warning or the like) when abnormality detection is performed by the theft detection sensor. The device is provided with an altitude measurement unit for measuring altitude of the vehicle; and a control means for forbidding the theft countermeasure action when predetermined altitude variation of the vehicle is observed by the altitude measuring unit within a predetermined time when the abnormality detection is performed by the theft detection sensor.
