<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter tube for medical use which is excellent in position adjustment, torque transmission, flexibility, resistance to kink, and resistance to pressure, shows excellent X-ray visual recognition and flexibility, especially at the distal end, and provides high rigidity in a hand part, so as to excellently perform pushing-in, and to provid the production method . <P>SOLUTION: The catheter tube for medical use integrally includes: an inner layer tube; a reinforcing material layer, a marker, and an outer layer tube. A base wire forming the reinforcing material layer is formed of the base wire with X-ray high-transmissivity, and is wound in a coil shape from the base part of the catheter to a middle area in a direction toward the distal end, and wound to the base part after returning. The reinforcing material layer at the distal end is formed of the base wire with the X-ray non-transmissivity, and wound in a coil shape from the middle area of the catheter to the distal end. The marker part is formed of metal which is flexible relative to bending deformation, having the X-ray non-transmissivity.
