PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe capable of suppressing the bending of a cable with mechanical scanning. SOLUTION: The probe 11 comprises: a transducer 25 for performing the mutual transformation of ultrasonic wave and an electric signal; a shell 26 for holding the transducer 25; a case 20 for storing the shell 26; a motor 30 for rocking the shell 26 around a rotary shaft 27 relative to the case 20; a guide bar 41 arranged in the shell 26 so as to be extended in parallel with the rotary shaft 27; and a coaxial cable 33 which is extended from the transducer 25 to the guide bar 41, wound around the guide bar 41, and extended out of the shell 26.
