PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly and adhesively fix an electrical wiring member to an ink supply member. SOLUTION: An inkjet recording head comprises: a recording element substrate 3 discharging ink; the electrical wiring member 4 supplying an electrical signal to the recording element substrate 3; and the ink supply member 2 which keeps the recording element substrate 3 adhesively fixed to the electrical wiring member 4 and which supplies ink to the recording element substrate 3. A peripheral groove 213 is formed along at least a part of the periphery of the fixing surface 211 of the ink supply member 2 with the electrical wiring member 4. The electrical wiring member 4 has a projecting part 44 in which at least a part of its periphery projects toward the peripheral groove 213. A rear surface 46 facing the periphery groove 213 of the projecting part 44 is bonded to at least a part of the periphery groove 213 via an adhesive A2, and an air layer 217 is formed in a part of the periphery groove.
