PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative material treated with a metallic paint using a water-soluble paint composition containing a metal, which has metallic quality appearance and color. SOLUTION: The decorative material has a metallic paint layer which is obtained by applying the water-soluble paint composition containing a metal paint powder containing a metal powder, a glass powder and a melamine cyanurate powder, and an acrylate bonding agent on the surface of a base material and the base material as a basic structure which compose architectural interior and exterior materials such as a wall paper, a wall material, a floor material and a ceiling material and an interior decorative article and then drying.
