Cosmetic or dermatological preparation (I) in form of oil-in-water emulsion with low melting point of phytosterol mixture, comprises substance (a) (0.5-5 wt.%) of the phytosterol group; an oil component (b) containing a mixture of at least a vegetable oil and/or a vegetable fat, at least a fatty alcohol or at least a fatty acid ester; and optionally, additional material. ACTIVITY : Antiinflammatory; Dermatological; Vulnerary; Antipruritic. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
