The assembly has a main (12) and an auxiliary printed circuit board (14) with both boards having separate mounting portions. A connector (20) with an electrical contact between both the mounting portions orientates both the printed circuit boards to be perpendicular to each other. The connector receives the main circuit board and the auxiliary circuit board by an end with a clip (30). An independent claim is also included for a method for attaching a main circuit board to an auxiliary circuit board.
