A terminal (100) is a communication terminal device connected to a local area network. The terminal (100) receives a call from a call device. When a call from the call device is received, the terminal (100) transmits a query requesting for caller information corresponding to the call device to an indefinite device connected to the local area network to which the terminal (100) is connected. The caller information is acquired from a response signal transmitted from the indefinite device in response to the transmitted query.
