<p>An invasive assembly for draining cerebro-spinal fluid comprises a puncture device, a conduit device, and an additional drainage device. The puncture device includes a puncture sheath (1), a puncture needle (2), a guide wire (3), and a drainage tube (4). The guide wire (3) is flexible and of good visibility and shape-memory function. The outer layer of the guide wire (3) is coated with a hydrophilic layer. The drainage tube (4) is formed of plastic, platinum, stainless steel, or the like, the head of which is blunt. The drainage tube (4) is of good compliancy and visibility. When the needle (2) and the sheath (1) which covers the needle (2) puncture into a proper position of the body, the needle (2) is withdrawn. Then the guide wire (3) is inserted through the inner hole of the sheath (1). After the sheath (2) is withdrawn from the body, the drainage tube (4) is guided along the guide wire (3) into the lumen to be drained or into the side cerebral ventricle or a deeper position beyond the lumbar with DSA monitoring. The outer end of the drainage tube (4) connects with the additional drainage device via a catheter (28).</p> |
