<p>A run flat support body applicable to multiple types of pneumatic tires having a same bead part inner diameter and different tire width sizes. The run flat support body comprises an annular shell formed in a tire support surface on its outer peripheral side and formed in right and left side leg parts opening in a fork shape on its inner peripheral side and elastic rings fitted to the end parts of the right and left side leg parts, and is supported on the rim of a wheel through the elastic rings. At least one of the right and left leg parts of the annular shell is divided into an outer diameter side shell part and an inner diameter side shell part, and the inner diameter side shell part is connected to the outer diameter side shell part displaceably in the axial direction of the tire.</p> |
