<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concealed image or concealed information authentication method for collating an image which appears in a predetermined wavelength area with an authentic image for a printed matter in which an image or information is concealed, reading the concealed information from the image which appears, collating its content with authentic information and authenticating it and to provide a concealed image or concealed information authentication system. <P>SOLUTION: The concealed image or concealed information authentication method and authentication system are characterized in that an imaging apparatus images the concealed image having sensitivity to absorption or reflection in a predetermined wavelength area for n times (once or more), predetermined image correction processing is applied to image information acquired by imaging and authenticity of the acquired image is authenticated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
