<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid deposits on a cylinder injector resulting from fuel injected from an intake passage injector of an engine which has the cylinder injector and the intake passage injector. <P>SOLUTION: An engine ECU executes a program which includes steps (S220, S230) where after starting the engine (YES in S100), when quick catalyst warm-up is finished (YES in S130), a hot map or a cold map is selected in accordance with an engine water temperature (S210), a step (S240) for calculating a DI rate r, a step (S270) where when a load rate is a threshold value or greater and separate blow occurs (YES in S260), a fuel injection timing for the intake passage injector is calculated as a timing when it is synchronized with intake, and a step (S280) where if not so (NO in S260), the fuel injection timing for the intake passage injector is calculated as a timing when an intake valve is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
