<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a stable and sufficient light emitting characteristic for long time without deterioration of resin by discharging heat from a light emitting element to an external part without making heat reside. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting device is provided with the light emitting element 101, and a package 105 where at least a part on which the light emitting element is placed is formed of a metal. The light emitting element is eutectic-bonded to the metal of the package. The light emitting element is coated with a resin layer formed of a curing object of a resin composite containing: organo polysiloxane which is expressed by a formula (1): R<SP>1</SP><SB>a</SB>(OX)<SB>b</SB>SiO<SB>(4-a-b)/2</SB>(In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>is independently an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group, whose number of carbon atoms is 1 to 6, X is independently the alkyl group, the alkenyl group, an alkoxy alkyl group or an acyl group, whose number of carbon atoms is 1 to 6, (a) is the number of 1.05 to 1.5, (b) is the number satisfying 0<b<2, and 1.05<a+b<2), and whose weight average molecular weight of polystyrene conversion is 5×10<SP>3</SP>or above; and a condensation catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
