<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new configuration considering problems on a ceramic raw material working and on shocking resistance with respect to a sprue insert applying the ceramic raw material. <P>SOLUTION: The sprue insert 20 is provided in a molten metal inlet of the casting mold, and is composed of: a cylindrical upper side gate insert 20A constituted of the ceramic raw material; and a cylindrical lower side gate insert 20B connected to the lower part of the upper side gate insert 20A at the upper part thereof.
