<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten image formation time by selecting held image data or by selecting image data to be generated when an image is formed while divided in regions. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus converts a page description language to a page description language corresponding to a plurality of the regions, generates the image data on the basis of the converted page description language, holds both the generated image data and the converted page description language, compares the converted page description language with a page description language to be held, and selects the held image data or image data to be generated according to the comparison result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
