<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and flexible framework by eliminating need of installing exclusive software into a computer or the like and excluding OS-dependency of the software, the software being recorded to a portable storage medium when setting information is set to a radio communication device through the portable storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: A method of setting the radio communication device includes: a recording step of recording radio communication setting information to the portable storage medium in an information processor; and a step of reading out setting information from the portable storage medium to set radio communication on the basis of the setting information, in the radio communication device where the portable storage medium is set. The recording step is performed by executing a program stored in the portable storage medium by the information processor.
