PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that camera shake restore processing can be performed only during photographing and the camera shake restore processing cannot be performed after photographing. SOLUTION: This apparatus enables a user to select any one of a first recording mode (image recording processing B) for recording image data not subjected to camera shake restore processing and camera shake restore information thereof, and a second recording mode (image recording processing A) for recording image data subjected to camera shake restore processing. If the user selects the first recording mode (image recording processing B), the camera shake restore processing can be executed in post processing after photographing, on the basis of the camera shake restore information recorded together with the image data not subjected to the camera shake restore processing.
