PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus with a television set and its television program notification method by which a television program currently received by a user can be received by the partner's communication apparatus without requiring channel switching operation. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus with the television set comprises an operating section for notifying information specifying a currently received television program to the partner's communication apparatus. When an operating section is operated, information for specifying the television program during reception is acquired and notified to the partner's communication apparatus. The partner's communication apparatus acquires the channel of television program based on the thus notified television program information and then receives and displays that channel.
