Provided is a cathode electrode for a fuel cell, which provides an economical and high-performance fuel cell system by using an inexpensive catalyst having a good hydrogen ion transfer function. The cathode electrode for a fuel cell comprises: a catalytic layer including a perovskite catalyst represented by the following formula 1 of ABOx and a binder; and an electrode substrate composed of a conductive substrate supporting the catalytic layer. In the formula 1, A is selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr, and a combination thereof, B is selected from the group consisting of Zr, Ce, Ti, and a combination thereof, and x is 2.0 to 3.0. |
