The tool (2) can be used for drilling a hole simultaneously provided with an inner thread. It is divided into a shaft (3) and the actual tool part (4) with specifically shaped elevations (13) and depressions (20) as well as with shaving grooves (18). The tool unit (4) is assembled of an upper (11) and a lower part (10) with identical outer ends (8,9) joined in the center. Each of the parts (10,11) can be positioned at either end or individually replaced if required.
