The battery (1) as the power supply for electronic units, e.g. motor vehicle controls or their components, is connected electrically to a direct voltage converter (2) on a circuit board (3) combined in a common unit within a plastics shell housing (8). The converter is at the output plug connection (7) with an insulation layer (4) between it and the battery.
