A refrigerator with an external health examining system is provided to measure health conditions regardless of time or place by carrying a portable health condition checking unit. A refrigerator with an external health examining system includes a health condition checking unit(200) separate from the refrigerator and measuring physical signals such as pulses or blood pressures of users. A health condition display unit is provided to the refrigerator for displaying information on the physical signals and other physical data input by the users. The health condition checking unit has a physical signal measuring part(300), and a physical signal processing part(310) for converting the measured signals to values according to basic units of each of the physical signals. A first storing part(320) stores the data processed by the physical signal processing part. A first graphic generating part(330) generates image signals for displaying the data stored in the first storing part or processed by the physical signal processing part on a screen. A first display part(340) displays the image signals received from the first graphic generating part on the screen. A wireless transmitting/receiving element(350) receives data on the user's health from the first storing part or the physical signal processing part wirelessly to transmit the same wirelessly. A first user's interface(360) receives user's command. A first control part(370) controls the processing of the data according to the user's command.
