摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger control device for properly controlling the drive of a variable nozzle mechanism for a turbocharger even when a combustion mode in an internal combustion engine is changed over. <P>SOLUTION: In the engine 1, the combustion mode is changed over to maintain the function of an exhaust emission control device 30. The control device 25 controls the drive of a variable nozzle mechanism 71 so that the charging pressure of the turbocharger 60 having the variable nozzle mechanism 71 for changing the exhaust flow path area of an exhaust flow-in part gets to target charging pressure. The control device 25 sets the basic drive amount of the variable nozzle mechanism 71 in accordance with the target charging pressure and the corrects the basic drive amount with a feedback correction amount calculated in accordance with a deviation between actual charging pressure and the target charging pressure.
