PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supporting control program development, which can visually display whether or not a memory that is used in a program module is also used in other subroutine programs or other program modules that are not subroutine programs. SOLUTION: The apparatus for supporting control program development has an analysis means for reading out control programs and analyzing the situations of overlapped using for memory addresses used between subroutine programs, or a subroutine program and a program module that calls the subroutine, and an analysis result display means for displaying the results from analysis by the analysis means. The situations of overlapped using for memory addresses, which are used between subroutine programs, or a subroutine program and a program module that calls the subroutine, can be displayed for every subroutine program.
